Sentencing arguments concluded late Wednesday afternoon for the Jew and former psychiatrist Aubrey Levin, who was found guilty this week of sexually assaulting three of his male patients. Defense lawyer Chris Archer said Levin’s rabbi said that to send him to prison would be a “death sentence.”
Two weeks before the verdict, a woman believed to be Levin’s wife, Erica Levin, had offered a juror a bribe to find Aubrey Levin not guilty. A charge of obstruction of justice is pending against Erica Levin.
He was sentenced to five years in prison.
